In Episode 613 of ?The Livin? La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore,? it?s good to share my very first interview with a plastic surgeon and a fellow low-carb health blogger/podcaster named Dr. Andrei Ostric (aka Dr. O). Everyday it seems we are seeing yet another medical professional discover the life-changing benefits of healthy low-carb living. From cardiologists to general practitioners, the wave of support for carbohydrate-restriction is getting stronger and stronger as the years go by. But have you ever heart of a plastic surgeon embracing low-carb for his patients? That?s what you get in Dr. O from the Chicago, IL-based ?Midwest PRS: Hand & Plastic Surgery.?

Listen in today and you?ll hear from this man who has been blogging for about a year and recently decided to try his hand at podcasting with his fabulous new iTunes podcast called ?The Dr. O Show? (featuring the same amazing producer behind all of Jimmy?s podcasts, the great Kevin Kennedy-Spaien). Dr. O and I had a fabulous discussion about how he came to the low-carb lifestyle, why he believes it fits in perfectly with his career as a plastic surgeon, how his connection with local Chicago radio personality Geoff Pinkus on ?The Man Diet? is changing lives and so much more. What a fun interview that I know you will love hearing today! ENJOY!

Coming up on Tuesday, the loveable man behind the Nick?s Sticks grass-fed beef sticks (his name is Nick Wallace) will share with us his passion for sustainable farming and real food in the 21st Century. Then on Wednesday, a medical school student named Larry Istrail will tell us why he got so fed up with all the anti low-carb propaganda from his nutrition professors and health authorities in the face of overwhelming scientific evidence supporting carbohydrate-restriction that he created a new Ancestral Weight Loss Registry database for people following a Paleo, primal or low-carb nutritional plan to input the results of their chosen diet plan.

JOIN US ON THE ?ASK THE LOW-CARB EXPERTS? PODCAST THIS WEEK: Coming up in Episode 27 of ?Ask The Low-Carb Experts? on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 7PM ET, we shift gears a bit from our typical topics on this podcast when we welcome a very popular blood sugar control advocate and outspoken health blogger Jenny Ruhl to the show. She appeared in Episode 582 of ?The Livin? La Vida Low-Carb Show? podcast and raised some eyebrows with her frank messages about certain issues that happen to people when they go on a carbohydrate-restricted diet as outlined in her book Diet 101: The Truth About Low Carb Diets. The response to that podcast was so overwhelming that I decided to invite Jenny on ATCLX to field questions from my listeners about the topic ?Overcoming The Problems With A Low-Carb Diet? which is sure to be one of the more controversial episodes in the short history of this podcast! E-mail me your questions for her on this topic to AskTheLowCarbExperts@gmail.com no later than 3PM ET on the date the podcast airs.
